Why PFE

All we do here is preparing us for all we will do there.

The phrase is more than inspiration. Scripture points toward a forever future where the redeemed are gathered before God, the Lamb is worshiped, the curse is gone, and God’s servants serve Him. PFE Choir sings now in light of that then.

The argument

Worship is not merely what Christians do. It is what redemption is preparing us to become.

Created

We were made for the glory of God.

Scripture begins the argument before it reaches music: all things exist from God, through God, and for God. Worship is not an add-on to human life; it is the proper response of creatures who were made by Him and for Him.

Redeemed

The gospel restores worshipers.

Sin bends worship away from God. Redemption brings worship home. The Father seeks worshipers in spirit and truth, and the church is called out to proclaim His excellencies.

Throne

Heaven is centered on the throne and the Lamb.

Revelation does not picture eternity as vague spirituality. It shows a throne, the Holy One, the Lamb who was slain, and worship rising because God is holy and Christ is worthy.
